Many customers who visit the teahouse district say they would like to see the geisha in a tatami room, but Kanazawa's teahouses have a custom of not accepting first-time customers, so you cannot enter the tatami room unless you are accompanied by a regular customer.
That's why we've come up with our annual autumn event, " MEET the GEIKO in KANAZAWA." It's a limited-time original event at Kanazawa Asanogawa Enyukai Hall where you can experience teahouse life. In 2024 , it will be held from October 1st to November 16th (please check the schedule for detailed dates).
After watching the elegant dance of the geisha, you can enjoy playing traditional Japanese games with them, take photos, and get to know the geisha up close. As it comes with an English guide, it is very popular with overseas visitors. Of course, Japanese visitors are also welcome.
