Dish Symphony No.1 Dish Beef Tallow Edamame

By frying boiled edamame beans with beef fat, spices and herbs, ordinary edamame beans become surprisingly delicious. With every bite, the aroma and richness of the spices and beef fat that have soaked into the pods spreads in your mouth. If you serve such a great snack on the table, your dads will start drinking more, so please keep it in moderation.

Ingredients (serves 2-3)

  • Edamame: 220g
  • Beef fat: 1 piece (about 15g)
  • Salt: 2 tablespoons
  • Dish Symphony No.1: 1/2 teaspoon

    How to make it

    1. Cut off a small portion of the end of the edamame pods, then put the edamame and 2 tablespoons of salt in a bowl and rub together.
    2. Boil 2 liters of water in a pot, add the salted edamame beans and boil for about 3 minutes, then drain in a colander.
    3. Put the beef fat in a frying pan and heat it over medium heat. When the beef fat has melted, add the edamame beans and fry until they are well browned.
    4. Once the surface starts to brown, add 1/2 teaspoon of Dish Symphony No.1, mix, taste, adjust saltiness, and it's done.
